Do you provide transportation?
Yes we provide transportation to and from Doctor and dentist appointments, grocery shopping, hair appointments, bank, post office-wherever the client needs to be transported to and from.
Is there a contract involved?
When decided to have TLC services a “service agreement is reviewed and signed by client themselves and/or family member. This agreement can be updated/changed at any time regarding types of services and frequency.
How do I go about starting services?
Contact Kathy at 319-334-4730, if no answers please leave a message. A free in home consultation will be conducted in the client’s home with family, friends, loved ones –whom ever wants to be present. A discussion will follow as to types of services needed, special concerns regarding the client, and question/answer discussion.
My Mom has special needs-how do I know they will be addressed?
After the free in home consultation, the care coordinator will develop a specialized plan of care for your mother. This plan of care is placed in the client’s own care diary for caregivers and loved ones to review. Log entries are entered into the care diary with each visit for everyone to read regard to the services provided during the caregivers visit.
How does TLC screen for caregivers?
TLC first conducts a personal interview and application for prospective employees. A criminal background check is completed as well a reference checks. New employees are carefully monitored by care coordinator and spot checks performed to ensure quality of care.
